Content that harms the dating experience for other users, encroaches on their rights, and/or is otherwise inappropriate will not be tolerated. The Indulgent Affairs website does not allow pornographic or erotic content.

Our Community Guidelines provide direction for your conduct towards other members of Indulgent Affairs. They apply equally to all.

1. Inappropriate content and behaviour when searching for a partner(s) within our online community.

1.1 Minors

You may only use the Indulgent Affairs website if you are over the age of 18.

1.2 Appropriate profile photos and/or other images

Profile photos may not contain any inappropriate content, for example, gestures or nudity. Blurring is permitted, but not to significantly alter your appearance.

Photos that contain pornographic or erotic images are also not permitted.

1.3 Appropriate chat and prevention of harassment

Behaviour during chats must also comply with these Community Guidelines. This includes:

• Not sending emails/ messages to other users at an inappropriately high or harassing frequency.
• Not sending first messages to an unreasonably high number of members at short intervals. We reserve the right to set certain limits in this regard where necessary to ensure the security and integrity of the website.

1.4 Bullying, harassment, belittlement, insults

We do not tolerate content on the website that contains or encourages threats, harassment or bullying. This includes but is not limited to:

• Exploitative content of any kind, e.g., extortion, blackmail, marriage fraud, etc.
• Derision of anyone based on ethnicity, religious beliefs etc.
• Sending content with the aim of humiliating others.
• Continuing to send unwanted messages to another member who has expressed a desire to end contact.
• Targeted insults to individuals regarding their appearance or lifestyle.
• Any other Community Guidelines included in Indulgent Affair’s Terms and Conditions.

1.5 Fraudulent behaviour/ Abusive use

This includes but is not limited to:

• Pretending financial need for the purpose of convincing other users to send you money or other valuables (so-called romance scamming).
• Creating free memberships fraudulently, e.g. by constantly creating new profiles.
• Using the services for any purpose other than to connect with other users for dating and romance. To be clear: using the website for unrelated purposes is strictly forbidden.

1.6 Pornographic / erotic content and vulgar language

Pornographic / erotic content or vulgar language will also not be tolerated. Content that also advertises sexual entertainment, escort services, or other services that may be considered sexual acts in exchange for payment, where one party is expected to provide money, gifts, or financial support to the other party (so-called “sugar dating”)

1.7 Child Endangerment and Exploitation

Content that sexualises minors (below the age of 18) or that promotes or glorifies child sexual exploitation is absolutely prohibited. Examples of content that depicts or promotes child sexual exploitation include, but are not limited to:

• Visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit or sexually suggestive act.
• Illustrated, computer-generated or other forms of depictions of a minor in a sexually explicit context, or engaged in a sexually explicit act.
• Links to third-party sites that host child sexual exploitation material.

The following behaviours are also not permitted:

• Promoting engagement in child sexual exploitation.
• Expressing a desire to obtain materials that feature child sexual exploitation.
• Recruiting, advertising or expressing interest in: (1) a commercial sex act involving a child, or (2) in harbouring and/or transporting a child for sexual purposes.
• Engaging a minor in a sexually explicit conversation; and
• Identifying alleged victims of childhood sexual exploitation by name or photo.

When we are made aware of content depicting or promoting child sexual exploitation, we remove it and advise the appropriate authority.

1.8 Hate speech and incitement of hate

Content that incites violence or hatred against individuals or groups on the basis of ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, class, immigration status, or other characteristics associated with systematic discrimination or exclusion violates our Community Guidelines.

1.9 Violence

Content that describes or incites random violence or other dangerous activities is not permitted.

1.10 Dangerous products/activity

Indulgent Affairs does not tolerate content that glorifies, recommends or trivialises dangerous and/or illegal products or activity. Examples of this are:

• Explosives, firearms, ammunition or other weapons of any kind.
• Illegal drug abuse, alcohol abuse, other mind-altering and/or illicit substances.

2. Enforcing and monitoring compliance with these Guidelines

In enforcing these Community Guidelines, we rely on a combination of manual and automated reviews.
